Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia is seeking to fill a full time, non-tenure‐track Clinical Assistant Professor position to support the training mission of its in-house Psychology Clinic, provide supervision of therapy and assessment to doctoral students, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses. This is a 12-month position and is expected to begin no later than Fall, 2020. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise and/or teach a variety of evidence-based assessments and interventions, specifically those for children, adolescents, and young adults. Candidates will also teach clinically related and general Psychology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department of Psychology has approximately 40 faculty members, 100 doctoral students and approximately 1600 undergraduate Psychology majors. The Clinical Program has approximately 12 faculty and 33 graduate students. The successful applicants will join a nationally prominent and productive faculty and department interested in promoting the careers of junior faculty.

Additional Requirements

Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program
Licensed or license-eligible to practice and supervise in the State of Georgia.
