Position Summary:
Office of Human Resources. The HR Coordinator for Compensation performs administrative work in support of Human Resources classification and compensation functions to optimize staff talent acquisition and maximize employee retention.

Essential Functions
  • Assists Director in implementation of programs, policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a first point of contact for HR ticketing system.
  • Conducts research on job specifications and compensations trends.
  • Develops and update positions descriptions in Payfactors and PeopleAdmin.
  • Audits Master BCAT spreadsheet regularly to ensure alignment with Job Code Table in OneUSG.
  • Responds to request from hiring managers for position descriptions.

    Bachelor’s degree

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:


    Preferred Experience::
    Previous experience working in higher education; prior experience working with position classification and compensation practices in a university setting; previous experience with OneUG, PeopleAdmin, Payfactors, or other Human Resources Information System.

    Salary Range: Minimum $33,300
