Position Description:
Under the direction of the Dean of Students, directly supervises the case management services team to coordinate, facilitate, and monitor programs and services available to students in distress.

Provides leadership to campus in developing protocols and policies related to serving students in crisis and focuses on building infrastructure within the UCLA Consultation & Response Team and Case Management Services. Works collaboratively with Counseling and Psychological Services, Campus Assault Resources & Education (CARE), Residential Life, Title IX, Academic Counseling, Legal Counsel, Employee Relations Behavioral Intervention Team, UCPD, and other administrators as appropriate to address the needs of students who have problems in areas that may include academics, health-related, psychological, economic, discipline, family relationships, social adjustment, and gender-based violence, through assessments, consultations, interventions, referrals, and follow-up services. Develops collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and academic departments to better support student development and wellness.

Director will play a leadership role in developing strategies for planning prevention campaigns and messaging related to mental health and violence prevention and will guide evaluations of the effectiveness of these efforts.
