Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 pm

Job Summary: The Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration of a program(s) or department. May assist with program design, management, and implementation. Serves as liaison between the program/department and other departments or the community. Position may supervise staff or students, provide complex administrative assistance, create promotional materials, and/or assist in the development of other potential programs. Position may be responsible for budgetary information.

Additional Department Summary: This position manages the Executive EdD program, part of the Higher Education Administration Program, in the College Education. Responsibilities include planning monthly meetings; includes: catering, booking classrooms, arranging transportation, and communication and coordination with faculty. Meetings occur Thursday - Saturday; must be available on these days with an ability to work a flexible schedule. Long term responsibilities include: maintaining records and budget, marketing and recruitment for the Executive EdD Higher Education Administration program, managing the admissions process, and maintaining alumni database, current student listserv, and online presence, preparing newsletter, and support of Program Coordinator as directed.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher and a minimum of two (2) years related experience, OR an associate's degree and a minimum of four (4) years related experience, OR a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of six (6) years related experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Some nights and weekends per program needs. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.
