Job Summary

Research assistant to develop a user-friendly touchscreen-based cognitive tasks , program and implement a cognitive battery, associated database and hardware.

Essential Functions

  • Programming a set of cognitive tasks using MATLAB
  • Implementing adequate hardware
  • Testing the accuracy of data collection and database
  • Working closely with PI and postdoc for program updates
  • Other Functions

  • Work collaboratively and effectively to promote teamwork, diversity, equality and inclusiveness.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues within the CNS community and across the campus to support the Dean’s strategic priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission and goals of the College of Natural Sciences.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

    • Excellent programming skills in MATLAB
    • Master's degree in computer science, experimental psychology or related discipline preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

    • Excellent programmer and analytic skills,
    • A basic knowledge of engineering.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with other laboratory members

    $30.33 per hour
