Establish testing reliability.

Reliably administer assessments to participating kindergarten students.

Collaborate with research staff to coordinate testing schedules.Qualifications Completion of two years of college.

Skills Needed:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Must be punctual, adaptable, and flexible

Must have reliable transportation and able to travel to and from schools.

Must have access to a computer to complete online training requirements.Preferred Prior experience administering literacy assessments.

Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field.

Teaching experience in early childhood or elementary education.Other Information This is a part-time, temporary position for the length of the Spring assessment window from March 2020 through May 2020.

Schools participating in this project are located in the NE and NW quadrants of Nashville, TN. Assessors will need to be available for Assessment Training in early/mid-March 2020. Training includes approximately 8-10 hours of face-to-face training and online training. Assessors will need to be available 3-5 days per week on a part-time (15-20 hours/per week) basis during school hours (8:00 am – 3:45 pm) throughout the assessment window which will begin in mid/late March 2020 and continue through May 2020.

Mileage is included in this hourly rate.Pay Plan This is an OPS/temporary Job.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule This is a part-time position at approximately 15-20 hours per week.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
