Maintains stockroom inventory and conducts sales for the following items: L-N; CO2 (dry ice), ethanol (maintains ordering log to ensure sales don't exceed our license limit), other high demand items not available through the VWR stockroom such as deuterated solvents

Responsible for creating and maintaining an on-line database of products available in the stockroom.

Serves as cylinder manager for Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) and Dittmer Laboratory of Chemistry (DLC).

Serves as inventory taker for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Serves as a liaison between the Chemistry stockroom and the VWR stockroom.

Provides assistance to the Chemistry building manager when needed.Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of and/or experience working in a stockroom.

Knowledge of and/or experience with inventory management.

Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Customer service experience.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Valid Florida/Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.Preferred Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.Anticipated Salary Range Mid to upper $20,000sPay Plan This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.Schedule If not otherwise specified, schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
