This is a non-tenure track, 12-month Teaching Faculty position with opportunities for promotion. Primary responsibility will be teaching large-lecture introductory courses, with the opportunity to teach upper-level courses and/or laboratory courses based on qualifications and interests. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in curriculum improvement, research in chemical education, and provide service to the Department, College, and University. Specific responsibilities will be assigned at the time of hire.Qualifications Ph.D. or highest-level terminal degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or biochemistry, or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching.Contact Info Teaching Faculty Search

There are two chemistry buildings with ample space for research laboratories, in addition to machine, electronic, and glass shops.
