Configuration of systems of varying complexity and troubleshooting of advanced technical issues. Provides support for all desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and software systems used in Athletics. Main point of contact for technical support within the department to initiate and resolve issues that arise at multiple sites. Provides on-site support as well as support via phone and email. Capable of working in an environment containing potentially confidential information and ensuring user data is provided resiliency and protected from malicious software.

Responsible for managing Athletics inventory for technology including adding new assets and managing old or non-functional equipment. Administrator of Mobile Device Management solution which tracks all Athletics mobile devices.
Administrator of Athletics deployment solution for imaging of Windows Workstations. Provides on-site support for essential services provided by Information Technology Services such as network connectivity, email, and Active Directory Services. Supplements University provided anti-virus software by updating and patching Athletics systems to prevent exploitation.

Serves as principle point of contact to answer inquiries and serves as liaison between users and Information Technology Services and other departments providing services to Athletics. Identifies department needs and correctly and accurately logging support cases or support request to the appropriate service provider. Serves as on-site support for hardware or software provided by a third party vendors. Must be able to work with outside groups to achieve resolution of technical issues to meet department deadlines.

Responsible for technology support for events as determined by the Director of Information Technology Services. This will require on-site or on-call support for home Athletics events. Will coordinate with visiting media and production staff for connectivity with Athletics network resources, support for Athletics game day technology, and support for Athletics staff during home events. Will work to improve game day operations and the efficiency of technology at Athletics venues.

Will coordinate with the Information Security and Privacy Office to ensure compliance with the University's privacy and security policies. Duties will include: Maintaining the information identification and classification documentation of Athletics protected or private information assets. Assessing Athletics electronic and physical controls for information classified as protected or private to ensure they meet legislated or contracted requirements. Ensuring Athletics staff are trained on this policy, and specific legislated or contracted privacy requirements. Ensuring each Athletics staff member who handles protected or private information sign an Employee Statement of Understanding Regarding Confidentiality. Work with legal resources to ensure contracts or agreements contain terms to stipulate adherence to FSU policy, legislation, or contractual safeguarding provisions when protected or private information is processed, transmitted, or stored by a third-party vendor.

Responsible for special projects as assigned by the Director of Technology Support Services. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or high school diploma/equivalency and four years of experience related to the duties of this position(Note: a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (managing users, computers, and group policy objects).
Experience with OSX deployment (Deploystudio, MUNKI).
Experience working with computer hardware and software in an enterprise environment.
Ability to work home Athletics events when required (potential evening and/or weekend hours).Preferred Experience with Athletics specific applications/vendors such as Paciolan, DartFish, XOS, Statcrew, etc.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
