The Enrollment Support Coordinator provides support to both the Coordinator of Transfer Admission and supports the needs of 50% of the Admission Counselors. As a member of the Enrollment Support Coordinator Team, this position is expected to provide superior customer service to students and families in the areas of both Admissions and Financial Aid.

  1. Provide secretarial support to the Coordinator of Transfer Admission and 50% of the Admission Counselors
    • Prepare any correspondence needed
    • Schedule high school visits, off campus interviews and information nights
    • Provide assistance on any projects or tasks being worked on by counselors supported
  2. As member of the Enrollment Support Coordinator team, provide administrative support for the department and support the enrollment goals for the division and institution
    • Possess a thorough understanding of the financial aid and admissions application, forms, and deadlines
    • Possess a thorough understanding of the process of submitting documentation, types of financial aid, how financial need is determined and how to read a financial aid award
    • Possess a thorough understanding of Federal and alternative loans, including loan limits and interest rates
    • Possess a thorough understanding of how to identify a loan status as well as be able to identify whether there are any outstanding issues affecting loan disbursement
    • Possess a thorough understanding of how Federal, institutional and private loans are processed
  3. Act as the primary liaison to students and parents; represent the Enrollment Management Division with professionalism and provide superior service with every customer interaction
    • Provide telephone customer service to prospective students, current students, and their families on all aspects of the admissions and financial aid process
    • Provide backup support as needed by reviewing and responding to all emails to the Admissions e-mail account and forwarding when necessary to the appropriate person or Department at Lehigh
    • Perform other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five years related work experience
  • Work experience in an office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing ability, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Solid computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
Special Considerations:
  • This position works with minors
  • Periods of high volume/workload may be required
  • Occasional evening, holiday or weekend hours; some Saturdays during the summer or fall visitation schedule
  • Occasional travel to attend training
