The Computer Science Department at the College of Charleston invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2020.

The rapidly-growing Computer Science department has over 540 students who are enrolled in five undergraduate degree programs and two master’s programs.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, collegiality, and a passion for teaching. The successful candidate must demonstrate promise to maintain an active research program and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates with expertise in all areas of computer science are sought to support our undergraduate and graduate programs in Computer Science, Computing in the Arts, Computer Information Systems, and Data Science. An earned Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related field is required before August 15, 2020.
