The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks candidates for the position of Curriculum and Registration/Enrollment Specialist in the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). This position will maintain appropriate controls in order to maintain the integrity of all UNC-CH curricular documents and systems. The employee will assist with the design and implementation of new curriculum-related systems such as CourseLeaf. The individual will act as a liaison to the CAS and all other Schools for all matters resulting in the maintenance of the Course Inventory via the Course Request Approval System.
Additionally, the individual will coordinate the maintenance of the Master Inventory of Programs informing appropriate OUR and Institutional Research employees of approved program changes, including changes in program requirements, degree/major/minor titles, and general education requirements. Changes recommended for Programs and approved by the appropriate College or School and new Programs will be changed in the Graduation Audit/Advising system only with the appropriate direction and documentation from the College and Schools through the Curriculum Specialist of the OUR. The employee will coordinate the correction of all electronic and printed materials regarding the curriculum and assist with the management and maintenance of the related PeopleSoft tables.
The employee will assist with the editing of the published Undergraduate Catalog and the Graduate Catalog; serve as a resource to campus on all issues related to curriculum, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Essential Skills:
Must have customer service experience and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Candidate should also possess strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to problem-solve and apply policies and procedures to resolve complex situations. Ability to multi-task efficiently, having excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn, are key to success in this position.
Experience working with the public in a university setting is preferred. Experience updating student records in a Student Information System within a Higher Education setting is preferred. Previous PeopleSoft experience preferred.
