  • Position Description

    Provides support for Assistant Director, OSA, as well as other directors in Student Affairs to effectively and efficiently implement and coordinate day to day running of career advising programs as well as other medical school programming events and services provided by the office of student affairs and COM.

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

      Bachelor's degree is required.Experience organizing and facilitating career-advising events Experience in higher education setting especially medical school is preferred but not requiredExperience as residency or fellowship program coordinator is preferred but not required
    Required Communication and other skills:

      Demonstrated competence with computer software including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in Blackboard or other online learning classroomExperience managing event budgetsExperience working with a case management systemExperience communicating with faculty and staff in a professional manner
     

    Working Conditions:May be required to travel.Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and some eveningsAbility to lift 25-50 pounds and pull push carts and materials for event set up and break downAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
