The Lead Cataloger and Support Specialist will help drive the UW-Madison Internet Scout Research Group's digital cataloging efforts - helping to create and maintain catalog records for the group's various digital collections. The lead cataloger will work collaboratively with other staff to provide quality assurance for in-house digital software, assist with resource selection and process archival submissions for the ATE Central portal as well as a variety of other duties.

Masters in Library Science or Masters in Library and Information Studies or related field.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:At lease one year experience in a relevant professional position (technical services, digital librarian, library project management, collection development, or comparable)
Required:
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- working knowledge of databases and/or digital resource collection tools
- strong information organization skills
- ability to self-manage and respond to changes in priority
Desired:
- knowledge of cataloging and/or metadata standards and best practices
- familiarity with subject analysis and application
- experience with webcasting/screencasting
