The McCoy College of Business Administration is seeking applicants for temporary faculty to teach in Accounting, Computer Information Systems and Quantitative Methods, Finance and Economics, Management, and Marketing. Temporary faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester by semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need.

Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department.

This posting is for the Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.

Required Qualifications

Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience is preferred.
