Job Details
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Shuttle Bus Driver, performing the duties of a shuttle bus driver for the University of North Georgia. Drives students, faculty and staff in a safe and effective manner to on and off campus sites, special events and or athletics events. Provides courteous and friendly service to customers. Periodic evening and weekend trips to transport UNG to in-state and out-of-state venues. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; at least 21 years of age; have valid Georgia driver’s license with an exceptional driving record. Assist with events on the UNG Campus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:The Shuttle Driver will:
- Drive shuttle bus on and off campus on designated route and for special events. After hours and weekend may be required from time to time for special events at various locations. May be ask to work in Parking Services as directed by the Parking & Transportation Manager.
- Make sure all safety rules and regulations for transporting passengers are adhered to at all times during transportation. Will report directly to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition before transporting passengers. Conduct vehicle inspections each day and notify supervisor of any issues or concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have ability to provide courteous and friendly service to customers.
- Must have good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid GA Driver's License
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal schedule
