SUMMARY

This posting will establish and maintaina pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary,non-tenure-track positions will be made. This posting does not necessarilyreflect a current, open position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and willbe made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturerpool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2020, at whichpoint all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will bewelcome to apply to future pools after that date.

DESCRIPTION

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Marketing from whichfuture appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made.Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester as needed.

Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes inthe Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught willgenerally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in-classor possibly, online. Compensation will range from $4,915 to $5,360 dependingupon course level.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s or higher degree in Marketing or closely related field or qualifications based on “Tested Experience” criteria for the Marketing area. Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.


 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching in Marketing
