Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs., sitting for long periods of time.


Monday-Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm; and occasional nights and weekends.

Job Summary

The Video Production Specialist is responsible for managing and producing video content for internal and external communications for several key areas of the University and UK HealthCare. Responsibilities include managing and conducting video shoots from start to completion; leading efforts to provide media training to administrators, faculty, staff and student-leaders from across campus; distributing UK Public Relations and Marketing videos using multiple formats through various traditional and social media channels for repurposing and most efficiently sharing the UK Brand; and forming relationships with campus community and communicating with colleagues to generate video and audio content ideas for Offices of UK Public Relations and Strategic Communications and Marketing and Brand Strategy.
