A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tong Wu in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Tulane University School of Medicine, to study the molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of liver cancer and liver diseases. Specifically, the laboratory focuses on the effects and mechanisms of several signaling molecules/cascades including miRNAs, lncRNAs, epigenetics, TGF-beta, Hedgehog, Hippo-YAP, prostaglandins, fatty acids, and other key signaling pathways in the growth regulation of cultured hepatocellular carcinoma cells, cholangiocarcinoma cells and in mouse models of liver carcinogenesis and liver injuries. Successful applicants should have a Ph.D. a strong background in animal experiments, molecular/cell biology and commitment to basic research.


Ph.D. with experience in molecular and cell biology and signal transuction.
