The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University is the first endowed academic department in the entire University of North Carolina System and is one of 11 departments within the College of Engineering at NC State. The primary purpose of the department is to provide a sound fundamental education to undergraduate and graduate students (both Master’s and Doctoral) and to conduct basic and applied research in emerging areas of industrial and systems engineering. The department also administratively supports the interdisciplinary graduate program in Operations Research (OR). The department also is heavily involved in outreach activities to industry and plays a vital role in fulfilling the missions of the College of Engineering and the University.Essential Job Duties:
To teach undergraduate or graduate classes in the department for spring, fall, and/or summer session.Other Responsibilities:

Minimum of MS Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and appropriate professional experience is required.Other Required Qualifications:
