This part time position will oversee the Title V activities. The Title V Director will coordinate with administrators, staff and faculty in several departments and offices across campus to ensure that the project is meeting the proposed goals and objectives and remains in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education regulations.
This position is funded through September 30, 2024, continuation of this position is dependent on continued funding beyond this date. This position is Part-Time.

Essential Duties

MAJOR DUTIES
• Provide oversight for staff engaged in project.
• Establish, maintain and communicate mission and objectives of the project to DSC.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, financial statements and records on program activities to President and Task Force.
• Foster college-wide participation in the implementation of the Project.
• Coordinate data collection for internal and external evaluations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES AND/OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
• Knowledge of computers and job related software programs.
• Skill in collaboration with staff, faculty and administration on relevant projects.
• Skill in decision making and problem solving.
• Skill in the completion of a variety of reports.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Ability to represent Title V to internal and external audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree required.
• Two years of related work experience
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of higher education preferred.

Physical Demands

• The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light objects.
• The work is typically performed in an office.
