Description
The Plumber (HSC) provides all services to maintain, repair, install, and replace any and all piping, fixtures, and drains associated with the plumbing and heating systems of Temple University and Temple University Hospital. The incumbent is responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and replacing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain heating, water, gas, and drainage systems for all campus locations. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Technical School certificate. Philadelphia Journeyman Plumber’s license and 5 years recent commercial plumbing experience required.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Basic knowledge of all aspects of plumbing trade including boiler and HVAC repair and installation. Technical ability in the following areas: electrical, building systems, carpentry, and motor and pump alignment.

*Ability to be a team player and work towards common goals in a timely and constructive manner.
*Capable of prioritizing urgent projects and working in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
*Capacity to work independently without constant supervision
