The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacy Services in UKHealthCare is seeking a faculty member with expertise in the area of lung disease research. This position will provide leadership and expertise in pulmonary research, and development programs in the Department of Internal Medicine. This individual will work with faculty members and with federal agencies to enhance the ability of the University of Kentucky and the Commonwealth to respond to the national goals in this important therapeutic area.
Additional responsibilities will include: teaching as appropriate, contributing to courses within the pharmacy graduate and professional program in the area of lung disease and critical care; research activities including working with federal agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs and private organizations. Service activities will include but not limited to working in the specified practice setting involving the Specialty Pharmacy areas within the enterprise; provide leadership when appropriate on University, College and Division of Pulmonary committees.
