Primary duties and responsibilities of this position include the processing of readmission and non-degree applications and registrations (includes the GSWP program and the lateral entry program), maintenance of the class schedule, serving as the point person for the NC residency system (RDS), serving as the point person for UNC Online, processing Visiting Permission forms, assisting Registrar in certification of student athletes as needed, and processing name changes. Serve as a backup for veteran assistance in answering basic questions when needed about benefits and rules/regulations as well as backup for the transfer evaluations. Assist in the day to day functions of the Office of the Registrar and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

Completion of a four-year college or university degree program with major emphasis on coursework in business administration, public administration, student personnel services or other related field and at least one year of progressive administrative or office management experience in student services or related fields. Experience with Banner Student systems is a plus and experience with Microsoft Office.

Work Schedule and Hours

Typical office hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be needed on evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the department.
