14-Oct-2019 Close All Job SummaryThis role provides web and application development, operations, and support for the communication and marketing needs of the university including Web Express. Duties include scoping and programming technical solutions to new problems; integrating third party services; automated and manual testing; and deploying and operationalizing applications. What Your Key Responsibilities Will BeProgramming, development
  • As a member of a team work to define and implement solutions to extend our product offerings. This includes extending the Drupal framework with new capabilities by configuring & implementing Drupal community and custom modules; developing scripts and applications to operate the Web Express service; and developing new applications to meet future needs.
Testing, QA, and Maintenance
  • Work as a team member to improve and run testing processes/protocols for quality assurance, validating code, find/fix bugs, and update/security patches.
Support
  • Support includes but is not limited to fixing bugs, updating languages and applications.
  • This position may also need to provide "escalated support" to our campus users, answering questions and providing mentorship based on subject expertise.
What We Can OfferSalary Range Starts at $65,000, and final offer will be commensurate with experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR experience as outlined below can be used as a substitute for a degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • 2+ years of Drupal development experience.
  • 2+ years of PHP/MySQL development.
What You Will Need
  • Proficiency with git or similar source control system.
  • Proven strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
What We Would Like You To Have
  • Drupal 8 experience.
  • 1+ years experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, ReactJS, or EmberJS.
  • Object and/or reverse proxy caching tools.
  • Symfony.
  • APM tools.
  • Implementing CI/CD workflows.
