Starting Salary: $71,484.00

JOB SUMMARY
The position serves as the NMC Registrar providing leadership for the Records and Registration area, maintaining integrity of academic records, providing for continuous process improvement, and assuring accuracy and consistency of records office functions. Further, the NMC Registrar actively engages and contributes to strategic enrollment management activities within the College.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
Required:

  • 5 - 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Internet, email, calendaring software
  • Experience evaluating transfer credits
  • Supervisory experience
  • Team player; highly motivated & a self-starter, with an ability to inspire & persuade others
  • Two or more years working in a higher education setting
  • Two to four years of experience working with database systems (i.e. Banner, Datatel, Peoplesoft, Jenzabar, etc.)



Preferred:

  • Ability to work cohesively with students, staff and faculty
  • Experience and skills in databases (Banner® preferred)
  • Experience coordinating graduation or similar event
  • Experience in enrollment management and student services
  • Experience with Prior Learning Assessment (i.e. AP, CLEP, DSST, PLA, etc.)
  • Experience with strategic enrollment management
  • Master's degree

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises others in accordance with NMC's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, recognizing employees; addressing performance problems or gaps.

WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position.
