Job FieldJoint Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology – Sinai Health System, Women’s College Hospital and the University Health Network

Sinai Health System (SHS) and Women’s College Hospital (WCH) in partnership with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, is seeking a full-time physician with demonstrated excellence and subspecialty training in menopause and mature women’s health. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2018.

The successful candidate will be involved in the care of mature women in the Menopause and Premature Ovarian Insufficiency Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Familial Ovarian Cancer Clinics (FOCC) at WCH. The physician will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of an internationally recognized tertiary care program that cares for menopausal women. The candidate will provide innovative program development and engage in research activity. The successful candidate will engage in continuing medical education (CME) and teaching of trainees at all levels in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as other interdisciplinary health professionals. The physician will participate in the hospital call roster for general gynaecology.

The qualified applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the RCPSC and must hold an MD degree, be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. The successful candidate must be eligible for an academic appointment with the University of Toronto’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will promote and demonstrate excellence in professional practice and conduct.
