Job FieldThe Laboratory Medicine Program at the University Health Network (UHN) and the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto are seeking an Anatomic Pathologist at the rank of Assistant/ Associate or Full Professor. The candidate is expected to have diagnostic and research expertise in neoplastic and non-neoplastic, including transplant, thoracic/lung pathology. The expected start date is Nov 1, 2019 or mutually agreed upon.

We are seeking an academic pathologist who will foster excellence in thoracic/pulmonary pathology practice, teaching and research. Duties include participation into general frozen sections and/or autopsy and after hours on-call are requirements. Participating in diagnostic service for UHN and its client facilities is also expected. Participation and leadership in collaborative or independent research and publishing scholarly work is expected. The successful candidate must show evidence of excellent and innovative scholarship in teaching and education in undergraduate, post-graduate, fellowship, and continuing education.

The candidate must possess a medical degree, certification in Anatomical Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Sub-specialty fellowship in head and neck pathology and/or neoplastic lunch pathology is essential. This full time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week) offers an annual salary of $232,498 as well as a competitive benefits package.
