Job SummaryUsing hand and power tools, performs variety of tasks to maintain campus landscaping in presentable condition

Job Responsibilities01. Maintains and cares for assigned landscaped areas., 02. Cultivates and fertilizes lawns, plants, shrubs and trees; prepares soil for sowing seeds, waters turf and ornamental ground covers, sprays and reseeds turf., 03. Operates gardening equipment such as riding lawn mowers, power edgers, power mowers and other related equipment., 04. Sweeps and maintains sidewalks, driveways, building entrances and other assigned areas., 05. Performs other duites as assigned.

Job Details

Works not limited to use of a weed wacker, lawn mower, and shovel in the outside setting.

Requires ability to lift 40 - 50 lbs. of soils.

Physical RequirementsWork is outdoors in sometimes uncomfortable or potentially hazardous conditions
