The Department of History announces part time, non-tenure-track lecturer positions for the 2019-2020 academic year. We are seeking candidates with strong teaching credentials who can contribute to our undergraduate program in the following areas for the Winter Quarter (01/02/20 to 03/20/20) and Spring Quarter (03/25/20 to 06/12/20):

  • Jewish History (lower division - Winter 20)
  • United States History (lower division - Spring 20)
  • California History (upper division - Winter 20)
  • 20th Century United States History (upper division - Spring 20)
  • Modern Iranian History (upper division - Winter 20)
  • East Asian History (upper division Spring 20)
  • Southeast Asian History (upper division Spring 20)

    The department will create a pool of candidates and will make selections when the final budget is approved. The salary is $6842.25 per course (based on an annual 9 month salary of $54,738.00).
