Under close supervision, performs a variety of duties related to patient food service, cafe operation/sanitation/food production/catering. Assembles patient trays and food carts in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality determined by department standards. Responsible for routine cleaning/stocking of pantries and other duties as assigned.
Responsible to practice quality customer service at all times. Follow department established recipes and properly labels and dates all prepared and stored food items. Follow department dress code policy. Upholds all departmental sanitation and safety standards as well as all additional department policies and procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year food service experience, preferably in a fast paced, customer service based hospitality environment.
Demonstrated ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Must possess the knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
- Healthcare food service experience.
- Tray-line experience.
- Food runner experience.
- Dishroom and stockroom experience.
- Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
