Florida Atlantic University's College of Nursing is seeking candidates for the Associate Dean for Research position to join our community of scholars who are passionate about nursing and want to thrive in a creative and caring work environment in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida. Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing is known internationally for its dedication to Caring: expanding the science, practicing the art, studying the meaning, and living it day-to-day. We offer four degree programs (BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD) with curricula that are unique and caring-based with opportunities for interprofessional education with medical, social work and pharmacy students.

The College of Nursing has two nurse-led centers with opportunities for faculty practice.
We have twelve fellows in the American Academy of Nursing, six fellows in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Academies of Practice, several Fulbright Scholars, and three Robert Wood Johnson Fellows. Our faculty’s research advances Caring Science in areas of health equity, holistic health, healthy aging across the lifespan and transforming healthcare environments. The College of Nursing has a dedicated Office of Research and Scholarship providing grant support along with internal funding opportunities. We also employ a strong teaching and mentoring program for all new faculty.
Minimum Qualifications:Candidates for this tenure track position should have an earned research doctorate in nursing (PhD or DNS) or a related field and at time of application.Must be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Florida.
Must also have a program of research and record of external funding to support research, as well as a substantial publication record.

Prior to appointment, the candidate must submit official, sealed transcripts from all institutions where graduate coursework was attempted, whether or not a degree was obtained, as well as an original NACES evaluation, if applicable. Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University not to you as the student.
