Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary

Facility coordinator for Turner Soccer/Softball Complex and Equestrian. Event Manager for Soccer, Softball and other assigned events. Oversight of all sound system operations at athletic facilities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Good organization and logistics skills. Ability to communicate well with all levels.

Duties/Responsibilities

Operations manager for select facility maintenance and construction projects. Assists in planning and implementation of construction projects. Coordinates and manages the daily operations for assigned athletic facilities. Coordinates use of all assigned facilities under the control of the Athletic Association and insures proper maintenance and operations. Responsible for the inspection of work areas regularly to ensure satisfactory facilities and facilities operations.

Event Manager for Soccer, Softball, and other assigned Athletic Events. Responsible for the set up and breakdown of athletic equipment for competition. Responsible for the clean-up prior to and after athletic events. Responsible for the proper moving of furniture and other items within and between buildings.

Sound System Oversight – ensure that the PA system at each assigned athletic facility is fully functioning prior to an athletic practice or competition. Coordinate preventative maintenance and schedule repairs to avoid interference with athletic competition.

Supervise and schedule the work of one full-time intern who will provide facility operations and event management assistance.
