The Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of precision medicine therapies and immunotherapies for pediatric leukemia. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology or a related discipline.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching residents, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include serving as a member of the Hematological Malignancy service and active involvement in fellowship training.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include basic, translational and clinical research focused on developing new precision medicine therapies and immunotherapies for pediatric leukemia as well as a strong record of extramural funding. Candidates must have evidence of academic scholarship and publications.
