Program Background: The Doctor of Audiology program is a vibrant program with 65 students enrolled within three cohorts. Two in-house clinics and collaborations with other Bay area clinic and research centers makes this a dynamic and innovative work culture. Program support available for attendance at national and state meetings and opportunities for professional development and visibility at national and international levels.
•Serving as the coordinator of the clinical education program
•Coordinating and placing students in internal and external clinical placements
oManaging database of external placements and affiliation agreements
oManaging TYPHON student hours tracking system
oServing as the liaison for all third-year extern students
oReviewing and updating clinical handbook annually
•Providing clinical services at the Pacific Hearing and Balance Center (San Francisco) as necessary each semester
•Supervising diagnostic and treatment sessions at the Pacific Hearing and Balance Center (San Francisco) as necessary each semester
•Collaborating with the Audiology Program Director to coordinate all student clinical assignments.
•Teaching courses (may include, but not limited to)
oExternship Seminar, Professional Issues, and Audiology Practicum classes
•Serving as a voting clinical faculty member in departmental operations
•Serve on committees at department, college, and university level
1.Minimum Qualification: Au.D. and/or Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field. 3+ years of clinical experienceAdditional Qualifications
