Position Description

The position requires teaching five classes per academic year (3/2 load). The successful candidate will teach Sport Marketing and Sport Analytics. Additional responsibilities will include the ability to teach marketing management courses. Candidates are expected to conduct and publish research in sport management and/or related fields in business according to the expectations of the Eberhardt School of Business. The supervision of undergraduate internships may also be included in the workload. University and Eberhardt School service are expected of all tenure-track faculty members.

Basic Qualifications

A doctorate in either sport management or a related business discipline is required. At least one year of university teaching experience is recommended. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute on a scholarly research plan in the field of sport management or related business area. Experience in the sport management industry and participation in professional organizations are desirable.
