This position reports directly to the Director of Financial Aid and will be responsible for packaging and processing student financial aid along with providing, coordinating, and compiling information and data for various financial aid programs. This position is housed at the Searcy campus but will require travel among all four campuses at times. During summer months, the staff will be on the Beebe campus three days a week due to peak processing time.

Some specific duties include:
*Verification and special conditions of financial aid packages, if requested.
*Responsible for conducting face-to-face financial aid advising regarding financial aid options, processes, and procedures.
*Responsible for determining eligibility for student loans and federal work study.
*Works closely with Human Resources in processing federal work study contracts.
*Awarding of scholarships received at the Searcy campus.
*Present at area high schools and Searcy campus functions as needed.

SalaryRequired Qualifications

Four year college degree, or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, such as accounting, marketing, business administration, etc., plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The knowledge of student financial aid programs, interviewing techniques is required as well as the ability to interview and obtain pertinent information. Also required is the ability to disseminate information orally and in writing; the ability to collect, analyze and compile data; and the ability to monitor student enrollment activities.
