Job Details
QualificationsOne year of experience in the operation of medium or heavy duty commercial passenger vehicles. A valid Maryland Commercial Class B or higher license (CDL) or equivalent with passenger endorsement, no air brake restriction and no more than 5 points is required. All candidates must be able to pass a Maryland Department of Transportation pre-employment physical and employees will be subjected to drug and alcohol education and testing as required under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Department of Transportation (DOT) and State of Maryland regulations.
Experience in any of the following areas: driving fixed routes, driving public transit and/or school buses, operating paratransit equipped buses, and transporting persons with disabilities is preferred.
A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
