This is a term limited position, expectedto last 18 to 24 months. Natureof Work: The HTC isengaged in a project to digitalize over 30 years of financial, medical andoperations paper records into an electronic document management system in orderto maintain compliance with records retention requirements and respond toaudits of various regulatory agencies. One document scanning operator will behired from this posting. This is a term limited project-based position andwill terminate when all records are housed permanently in the digital system. Thisposition is expected to last no longer than 18-24 months. Thisposition will coordinate with the Team Supervisor, as well as the Team ScanningOperators on aspects of the project including the identification of, scanningin, and indexing of medical documents into Singularity Software and qualitycontrol of HTC digitized documents. - Acquireadvanced skills in Singularity software operations.
- Preparesorganize and categorizes all paper records for scanning.
- Identifyproper digital document classes to match paper records.
- Reviewdocuments and assign indexing values.
- Strategizewith team members on document management solutions
- Performquality assurance check on scanned documents.
- Performother support functions as requested and other duties/tasks as assigned.
QualificationsMinimumQualifications:
- One (1) year of general clerical experience.
- Six (6) months of experience specific to recordsmanagement or working in a digital document imaging environment.
- Mustsuccessfully pass a 10-panel drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Mustbe willing and able to pass a national criminal and sex-offender backgroundcheck
- Mustbe willing and able to occasionally lift and move boxes that weight up to 50lbs.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience working with medical records in ahealthcare environment.
- Experience working in team environment.
- Experience working with Singularity ScanningSoftware.
- Abilityto perform computer work for extended periods of time.
- Familiaritywith Singularity Scanning Software.
- Strongorganization skills.
- Abilityto work effectively in a team setting.
- Excellentattention to detail.
- Abilityto properly identify digital document classes and match paper records.
- Skilledin basic Microsoft Office computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Abilityto quickly learn new web-based programs and database applications.
- Abilityto communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Abilityto establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse groupof co-workers, clinical staff, faculty, fellows, and students.
