Working under general supervision, the Central Equipment Service Tech II is responsible and accountable for all activities and competencies related to equipment and supply inventory for nursing units in varies locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, Supply Inventory & Management, Equipment Inventory Management, Real Time Location System (RTLS) support, and related administrative support. Performs other responsibilities as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Two (2) years recent Central Service operations or Equipment Management experience in large, complex healthcare setting.
Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS-Office, Excel, Word, i-Share base programs). Experience using and maintaining a database and spreadsheets.
Excellent interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, flexibility and professionalism in dealing with staff and visitors.
Solid knowledge and ability to effectively work in and facilitate a team environment.
- Experience with managing equipment and supplies.
- Experience working with vendors.
- Experience working with patient charging methods.
- Experience working with RTLS or equipment tracking method.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
