Position Summary

• Clinical education and supervision of graduate students, including students learning to provide high-quality evidence-based services
• Provision of direct speech-language pathology clinical services
• Instruction of clinical and/or academic material
• It is expected that the individual will work closely with students and faculty, as well as the community.
• Interprofessional collaboration
• Engaging in departmental, college, university, community, and/or professional service

Additional Requirements

• Earned master’s (M.A., M.S., M.Ed., or equivalent) or doctoral (Ph.D., SLP.D., or equivalent) degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, or a related field
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association
• Eligibility for Georgia licensure in speech-language pathology
• Five years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification

• Clinical one or more years with adult populations
• One or more years in clinical instruction and supervision

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

• Expertise in the areas of neurogenic communication disorders, voice disorders, and voice modification services
