Teach undergraduate and graduate classes, committee service, and advising students. The workload of the position will be equivalent to teaching four (4) courses per semester. Duties include, but are not limited to, teaching MIS courses, acquisition and administration of MIS projects, coordinating relationships with corporate partners, and other supervisorial duties. Proficiency in C# and JAVA is strongly preferred.

The Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science invites applications for a clinical instructor position in Management Information Systems that starts January 1, 2020. At least a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or a closely related field is required by this starting date. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of relevant information systems software development, consulting, and/or managerial experience. Experience teaching introductory computer programming using C# and/or JAVA, managing software development projects, and coordinating relationships with corporate partners is preferred.

This position is a non-tenure track, three-year appointment that is renewable at the discretion of the University. Continuation of this appointment is dependent upon meeting the departmental and college performance standards and complying with all faculty and general UA employment policies.
