Project Manager - Adult Enrollment Services

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the VP for Enrollment, the Adult Enrollment Services (AES) Project Manager (PM) performs several key functions. This individual manages multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that designated individuals complete all work within the needed time frame. The PM works with AES staff and other N&G operational units or UIT, as needed, to communicate project purpose, perceived challenges, gather feedback, and drive timely completion.

NOTE: This position will reside within our Marion, IN offices.

Reporting Relationships:

Vice President for Enrollment

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage key AES projects to completion within the time allotted.
  • Work collaboratively with others (colleagues, university leaders, outside vendors).
  • Communicate next steps and deadlines professionally and honestly.
  • Engage interested stakeholders and generate excitement around new opportunities.
  • Evaluate capacity and communicate risks to be mitigated.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines
  • Can manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Able to exercise creativity, decision making, and problem solving as some projects could be less defined
  • Preferred PMP certification
  • Preferred knowledge of project management software
  • Preferred project management experience
