Teach a 4-course load (undergraduate) in the School of Teaching and Learning. Serve on committees, work with school districts, supervise students in various settings. Teach Monday-Friday during the day and possibly evenings. Courses taught include, but not limited to, introduction to education, reading, curriculum, and assessment. Applicants with an earned doctorate degree may have the opportunity to teach graduate courses.
Educational Requirements for the PositionMasters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction or related field. Preference will be given to applicants with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field.
Experience Required for the PositionAt least 3-5 years successful teaching in K-12 setting. Experience working with diverse learners in a school environment and in differentiating instruction.
Other Requirements for the PositionApplicants must hold a state teaching certificate and be available to teach Monday-Friday (as needed).
