Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

Teaching focus should include: statistics/quantitative psychology and research methods. An additional area of specialty for teaching at the undergraduate level is welcome and open. Instructors with training and/or experience in online instruction are encouraged to apply.

Educational Requirements for the Position

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited university prior to the start date. Applications from individuals who are all but dissertation (ABD) will be considered, but the degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Experience Required for the Position

Other skills that are expected from a qualified candidate include, but are not limited to: ability to be a team member, commitment to student success, and excellent verbal/written/organizational skills.

•Teach 8 courses per year (primarily undergraduate)
•Present a working knowledge of relevant curricula
•Mentor undergraduate/graduate students, as appropriate

•Help to establish an online presence, as necessary
•May participate in service and collaborate in research across department, college and university levels
