Requirements

The Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area, and must show promise of excellence in research as well as teaching.

We seek applicants with research interests that will complement and bridge with one of our core areas of data-centric computing, security and privacy, and theory. In particular, candidates with a strong record of research in machine learning and AI, programming languages, systems, software engineering, or human-computer interaction are encouraged to apply.

We are a rapidly growing department in a top-25 university located in the heart of Washington, DC with a wide variety of cultural opportunities as well as access to funding agencies.
