Job Description Summary

Positions Responsibilities

  • Maintain current study plans for all TESOL program students, with scholarship information included.
  • Coordinate all clinical placements:
    – Maintain all records on practicum and residency placements:
    – Organize placements for each CAS candidates (secondary & elementary) each semester, collect
    and save time sheets
    – Communicate deficiencies to students
  • Credential record keeping:
    – Ensure that CR-ITI grant agreements have been signed and collected for each student
    – Save all grant related documents to the shared drive
    – Create a system to ensure other credentials have been met (12 credit language requirement,
    practicum requirements, residency requirements) prior to department endorsement for certification
  • Prepare MOUs to CAS and MAT participating schools, to be sent by the Clarkson Department of Education faculty
  • Prepare CTLE credits for mentor teachers and report CTLE credits to NYS
  • Complete annual grant reporting tasks:
    – Prepare the FS 10, Narrative Report, FS 10F
  • Monitor the Slate admissions platform and communicate status of applications to TESOL director regularly
  • Administer program exit interview to all graduating students
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Performance of above duties require you to be at work

  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
