- Oversee and monitor all facets of NCAA bylaw 15 (financial aid)
- Coordinate the National Letter of Intent Program
- Process athletic aid agreements
- Manage Student-Athlete Textbook program
- Maintain CAi & ARMS databases
- Serve as liaison for campus housing, bookstore, financial aid & student accounts office
- Oversee the Student-Athlete Assistance Fund (SAF)
- Conduct rules education sessions with coaches, student-athletes, and staff
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Compliance Services & Senior Associate Athletic Director of Compliance & Student-Athlete Services
- Process NCAA violations
- Process NCAA waivers
- Process Student-Athlete Reinstatements
- Medical Hardships
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of NCAA bylaws 15
- Experience drafting NCAA violations and waivers
- Working knowledge of CAi, LSDBi, and Eligibility Center
- Experience conducting rules education presentations
- Ability to:
- Analyze and research NCAA bylaws
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Work cooperatively with coaches, staff, faculty, students and members of the community
- Ability and willingness to support the diversity and equity commitments of the department
- Commitment to academic integrity and compliance with University, conference and NCAA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and project a professional attitude
- A history of regular attendance and positive performance evaluations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year of experience working in Division I intercollegiate athletics compliance.
- Previous experience working at Division I FBS level.
- Previous experience with ARMS recruiting software.
- Previous experience using PeopleSoft.
- Previous experience with NCAA bylaws 15
- Previous experience using NCAA Compliance Assistant (CAi)
