This position is a part-time, temporary position. Some travel required.

The Center for Wellness and Recovery (CWR) at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to develop curriculum for its grant funded Oklahoma Flex Rural Veterans Health Access Program (OK-RVHAP).

The CWR is committed to improving the lives of Oklahomans affected by pain and substance abuse disorders through treatment, education, research, and policy. The OK-RVHAP aims to enhance the healthcare of rural Oklahoma veterans by increasing access to mental health and substance use disorder services. The purpose is to improve the capacity of critical access hospitals (CAHs) and other rural healthcare organizations to serve Oklahoma veterans living in rural areas by integrating education on mental health, substance/opioid use disorders (S/OUD), and other conditions into four OSU-CHS Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Care Outcomes) programs. Individuals to be trained include providers and medical professionals in the specialties of Adult Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Hepatitis C, and HIV/Viral Disorders.

The Curriculum Specialist will collaborate curriculum development with key stakeholders and content experts. This position will develop veteran-focused curriculum for multiple Project ECHO lines, identify changes in curriculum, and design pre/post tests/surveys for ECHO line/class.

This position is a grant funded position.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with curriculum development
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently, strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deadline-driven
- Demonstrate ability to excel in a team-based environment
- Experience with presenting ideas and facts effectively and accurately
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge and skill in the use of computer applications in MS Windows environment, including Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:
- Master's degree
- At least three (3) years of experience with curriculum development
- Knowledge and experience of OSU Project ECHO
- Experience with virtual learning networks
- Experience with curriculum development in mental health and substance use disorder services
- Knowledge of under-served populations, such as veterans
