Position Description:
The UCLA Anderson Center for Global Management (CGM) serves as the focal point for advancing the school's global agenda and as the coordinating mechanism for UCLA Anderson's global academic, immersion and experiential on- and off- campus courses and programming.

The CGM serves to promote a global management mindset in students, faculty, alumni and the broader community through its programming, including courses, events, seminars, research, global course development and community engagement that enhance UCLA Anderson's global footprint and deepen the global roots of the school. The CGM will build upon existing relationships and establish new partnerships with international institutions, business schools and organizations to develop and offer programming that is in line with UCLA Anderson's global strategy.

The CGM's global immersion courses provide an opportunity for students across all UCLA Anderson's MBA programs to acquire direct international exposure during the elective phase of their program. The CGM also runs and manages short-term international exchanges. This programming is in addition to the vast array of large and small scale events and global management seminars that the CGM runs throughout the year. With broad direction from the CGM Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for the administration, planning and implementation of up to 8-9 global immersion courses annually and maintaining institutional relationships with partner schools as well as with third party vendors to organize educational study abroad programs for ~350 students annually. The Program Manager is also responsible for the oversight and implementation, including scheduling of the CGM's short-term international exchange with ~10 partner schools. He/she is responsible for the operation of important activities and functions associated with these courses including student coordination, enrollment, registration and advising; in-country program management; financial management; maintaining systems and providing analyses and reports; evaluation and oversight of technologies; and collaboration with various campus departments including registrar, risk management, Dashew Center, graduate division and summer sessions, and for providing guidance to staff supporting these functions. He/she will be expected to travel internationally as the sole staff representative to assist with the management of global immersion courses and may be required to attend off-campus site meetings and events for the center locally.

The Program Manager is expected to be well versed in course management and student affairs policies and regulations to ensure that current and accurate information is provided to students, faculty and relevant partners and vendors. He/she is also expected to have proven experience in student affairs, class management as well as event and course management. A demonstrated high level of customer service including student and faculty support, exemplary organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are critical to carry out the range of activities. The Program Manager is required to use judgement and sensitivity and act independently to fulfill course and program objectives and maintain a professional manner at all times when interfacing with internal personnel (i.e. faculty, cross-campus units, students and staff) as well as external constituents (i.e. partner institutions, vendors, guest speakers, alumni, etc.) via both written and oral communications. S/he will also collaborate on special projects that support CGM's long-term goals.
